Did You Know Episode 204: Are You Prepared for the Electric Water Heater Transition?
Course
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) residential water heater efficiency standards take effect on May 6, 2029, which will require HPWH's for most Electric applications. So should plumbers earn their 608 certification and learn refrigeration, or should HVAC techs learn plumbing? On this episode of Did You Know: The ESCO HVAC Show, we dig into the new ESCO Institute curriculum built to train the heat pump water heater techs this market needs.
