Bringing the Basics to Life

In this presentation Ty will demonstrate some of the quirky things he does in the classroom to bring the basic concepts of physics and HVACR to life. Most, if not all, of these concepts you will already know but the spin he uses can help to make them more interesting to your students. Ty sees that, many times, the basic foundation is overlooked by instructors and yet those basics are the building blocks of everything we do. Understanding them helps the rest of the course and instruction go smoothly.
This session concentrates on the refrigeration cycle and demonstrations but, if time allows, a few electrical demonstrations will be presented as well. Come with an open mind and hopefully you will leave with some inspiration. Ty looks forward to seeing you there!
