Teaching Strategies that Work

Laura Alfano, Vista College/Education Futures Group, LLC.

Content delivery is becoming more complicated. Some instructors still teach all of their courses face-to-face, some deliver a blended format with a combination of online and face-to-face components, and some are teaching live classes using Zoom or other conferencing software. In this rapidly changing time, one thing remains constant - good teaching. In this session, you'll learn teaching techniques that work, no matter what your delivery method.

Approximately 87 minutes.

This session will be released for viewing on March 25, 2021 and will be available for viewing (and reviewing) for 120 days thereafter.

CEU/CEH certificate issued upon completion of the course.

Instructor(s)

Vista/Education Futures Group Laura Alfano

Laura is currently the VP of Curriculum at Vista College/Education Futures Group, LLC. She has been in education since 1976 and has not only taught in the classroom and online, she has also developed curriculum for both. Laura speaks at the national level about education topics and has done so for many years.

Laura has trained educators and been responsible for excellence in the classroom for as many as 300 teachers. In that capacity, Laura developed their onboarding, created on-going teacher training, performed classroom observations, and assisted instructors who were struggling.

Laura enjoys speaking to educators and gets excited about sharing information (which is a group activity, not a person in front lecturing).
