Why Teaching Air Flow Diagnostic Techniques is Vital?
Darrin Kramer
This course highlights why air flow measurement techniques are vital when installing and servicing equipment, what the value of using air flow measurement in classroom training to properly diagnose HVAC systems is, and helps instructors to evaluate their current program for teaching airflow diagnostic.
Teaching airflow measurement is vital to properly diagnosing an HVAC system. Many technicians simply do not have the training or the technical equipment to perform their job. This results in new and existing HVAC systems not operating correctly, often leading technicians to incorrectly service the equipment. Equipment longevity and efficiency are greatly reduced.
This training helps instructors re-evaluate instructional air flow training for students.
This instructional course answers the following questions and gives instructors a road map to modify or add teaching techniques to their current curriculum.
Mr. Kramer will provide examples including an example of a sick patient. What does a medical doctor consider? Comparison: How does an HVAC doctor (technician) begin his diagnosis? Where does he start? What steps should he go through to properly diagnose a system? Why does a technician think he needs to immediately connect gauges?
How do these three work together on system performance? Diagnostic?
