Scaffolding Awareness

Scaffolding is common on construction jobs. Those working in the building trades are highly likely to encounter them while on the job, even if they themselves are not working on these temporary structures. As such, scaffolding is a primary safety concern for the construction and industrial trades and is an important topic for ongoing workforce training.

This scaffolding awareness course provides basic information about different types of scaffolds and guidelines for their use, to assist participants in obtaining a better understanding of the relevant regulations and risks associated with working on or around scaffold systems. When complete, participants will have a basic understanding of regulations and roles and responsibilities for personnel erecting, dismantling, and using scaffold systems.

As part of this course, trainees complete several Knowledge Checks and other exercises to validate their training and identify subject areas where additional review/training are recommended.
