The US Department of Energy Building Science Education (BSE) Solution Center provides curated and free-to-use training materials on the fundamentals of building science.
In many of the training modules, a user will find learning objectives, lecture notes, relevant open-source websites, videos, book resources and homework/exam questions. All of the content in this 'course' can be downloaded and used freely by educators as they create or update their curriculum.

Title: Heat Transfer
Description: Heat transfer is defined as the transfer of thermal energy due to a temperature difference. Heat transfer may occur due to three different modes (conduction, convection, and radiation) depending on the physical system. Most systems in buildings actually experience a combination of all three forms of heat transfer, and other energy flows.
Note: This is not a course. This is a set of resources for educators and trainers to add to their curriculum. This content is part of Building Science Education as compiled by the U.S. Department of Energy Building Technologies Office.
